Each shade is custom-dyed using traditional techniques, then woven on the loom with a lead time of 4–6 weeks. The finished silk is entrusted to New & Lingwood’s personal tailoring service, formerly provided by Crockett & Jones, where each pair of slippers is made to order. Production typically requires an additional 8–10 weeks, with a bespoke fee of £1,000. The palette offers a reliable guide, though subtle tonal variations may occur due to the artisanal nature of the dyeing process.
